Get Your Needed Green Card Vaccination Today

To receive an adjustment in status, you will need to have a complete medical examination performed by a USCIS doctor and this exam will include a look at your green card vaccination history as well.

It is important that you keep all of your green card vaccine data with you because you can be deemed inadmissible if you do not have all of the required vaccines needed to become a US citizen.

Working with a trained and qualified USCIS doctor is important and Dr. Javid Yadegar can help. He was chosen by the USCIS to provide immigration exams to immigrants who want to apply for citizenship or a change in status. With a qualified immigration doctor on your hands, you will be able to navigate the course of what is needed to receive the change in status you need.

If you are in need of one green card vaccination or multiple vaccinations, Dr. Yadegar serves immigrants in NYC, New York, Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. Call our office today to schedule an appointment to receive your vaccines.

Green Card Vaccine Records and Inadmissibility

Many immigrants do not know that they can be deemed inadmissible if they do not receive the required vaccines for the green card. This is why it is crucial to work with a trained and experienced civil surgeon.

You NEED to have your vaccines or else you will be considered inadmissible and this means you cannot gain citizenship or receive an adjustment in status on your green card. The only exception to this is with a fiancé visa. In these cases, the fiancé can receive vaccines during the medical exam or they can choose to delay receipt of the vaccines until they apply for their green card.

The required vaccines for ALL immigrants to avoid inadmissibility include:

  • Tetanus
  • Diphtheria
  • Pertussis
  • Measles
  • Polio
  • Rubella
  • Mumps
  • Rotavirus
  • Influenza
  • Hepatitis A and B
  • Varicella
  • Haemophilus influenza type B
  • Meningococcal
  • Pneumococcal

If you have already received any or all of these vaccines, Dr. Yadegar will need to see the vaccination reports, so please bring them with you to your appointment. Dr. Yadegar cannot simply sign off on the paperwork without the proof of the vaccines. If for some reason, you do not have it at the time of your appointment, you will need to obtain the copies and bring them into our office.

If you have never received some or all of the vaccines, Dr. Yadegar can administer the ones that you need in our office. If the vaccine requires multiple injections, you will need to complete the entire course of them.

If you meet all of the requirements, Dr. Yadegar will complete your paperwork for you while you are here at your appointment.
