Get Your Medical USCIS Test Performed in Our NY Office

Elite Medical Clinic is your Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, NYC, and New York immigration and USCIS test center. Our physician, Dr. Javid Yadegar, is a civil surgeon who is certified by the USCIS to provide all immigration medical exams for green card applicants and immigrants who wish to apply for US citizenship.

When you come into our office, we recommend that you bring some documentation with you to help speed up your USCIS test.

Some of the documentation required includes: • Proof of identification • Passport • Any and all vaccination records • Health records, if available • I-693 forms or other paperwork to be completed

If you have any questions about the documentation you need to bring with you into our office, please do not hesitate to call us. We want you to be as prepared as possible, so that the process goes as quickly as it can for you.

What to Expect at Your USCIS Test

When you arrive in our office, you will first be asked to sign in and then fill out the top portion of your I-693 form. This can be done prior to the medical examination by our immigration doctor. You do not have to fill out any of the remaining sections on the form as Dr. Yadegar will do that.

Once your name is called, the exam will begin and includes:

  • Complete physical examination of your body
  • Blood test for diseases such as syphilis, HIV, and other
  • Tuberculosis skin test
  • Vaccinations
  • X-rays

It is important to bring your vaccination records with you, so that Dr. Yadegar can verify that you have received all of the required vaccines. If you have not, they will be administered to you.

Also, you should note that you will need to come back into our office to have the tuberculosis test confirmed. You will usually need to return within two to three days. If an abnormal result is displayed, you will need to have an x-ray performed.

The vaccines that you are required to have include:

  • Measles
  • Mumps
  • Polio
  • Rubella
  • Pertussis
  • Tetanus
  • Haemophilus influenza type B
  • Hepatitis A and B
  • Rotavirus
  • Influenza
  • Varicella
  • Meningococcal
  • Pneumococcal

What to Expect After the USCIS Test

Once the test has been completed by our immigration doctor, your I-693 forms will be completed and placed inside of a sealed envelope. The envelope MUST stay sealed or else it will not be accepted by the USCIS.

You only have a certain timeframe to submit the form once it has been signed, so do make note of that. Also, you will need to have forms completed and signed for every member in the household who plans to apply for US citizenship or an adjustment in their status.
